International week at the Arctic Circle
The Arctic Circle Dive Centre and Lodge is the territory of peace and friendship between nations and cultures: right now we are teaching a couple of French divers from Marocco, and a Chinese guy from Shanghai how to dive under ice. Besides divers, two girls from Germany have come for tourism and educational purposes. A little later three representatives of Hong Kong arrived to master the ice diving skills. But not only divers from abroad come to our place, and not only those, who want to to get Ice Diving training. Artyom and Olga - an experienced couple of divers from Dmitrov (a town not far from Moscow) - have come to our Dive Centre just to have fun and amazing diving.
The weather was unstable this week, frosts were accompanied by blizzards and winds, but this did not prevent students from training dives, and experienced divers from contemplating the magical underwater world at various dive sites.
Meanwhile, tourists from Germany were studying the vicinity while skiing, riding slede with reindeer and sled-dogs, and went sightseeing on foot.
In the evenings, our guests have time to relax in sauna (Russian steam bath) and admire the northern lights, which shine this season magnificently!
